I have been through other coaching experiences in the past and this was quite unlike anything I've previously done this was taking a much more whole of self view.
Nick Vaughn
Cillín is such an easy going kind of guy. He has really uplifted my thinking, not only in my work, but in my life. He's so sincere and so natural... really amazing.
Kim Quirke
I think I've become a lot braver. I'm naturally quite a shy person and I've definitely stepped outside of worrying about how people perceive me.
Steve Mannion
He's a great person, he's funny. He really helped our team bond. We did a lot of team building type of activities; he's a great story-teller... he had everyone engaged.
Jonny Hay
I feel more confident in myself, both in my ability and my leadership capability from some of the tools that Cillín gave me.
Natasha Wilson
Definitely a sense of humour, a really good sense of humour. Definitely... he really genuinely takes an interest in your ideas and who you are and what you want to do.

first, lead yourself
This book is amazing, I had so many ‘aha’ moments. Although not really a self-help book, I've learnt so much about myself from Cillín, I'm now more comfortable being me and more aware of my personal rules, I didn't realise I had so many! The wisdom Cillín shares has enabled me to become more resilient, a better leader, and most importantly, a better parent. First, Lead Yourself not only tackles the biggest problem in leadership development that holds millions of people back from achieving their full potential, it weaves together the essential ingredients required for your own success as a leader. This book is full of practical tools, exercises and insightful stories that will accelerate you along the path towards achieving your leadership goals.
First, Lead Yourself by Cillín Hearns certainly isn’t the stereotypical paint by numbers approach to coaching books. Instead it is full insightful stories of someone I have got to know but didn’t know. A book about how to become extraordinary for the average person. Open, Read, Think. Luke Johnstone

Working with Cillín as my coach over the last few years he has taught me many, many tips, tricks, techniques, and strategies to inspect and learn about myself so that I can grow in my own leadership journey. This book is an amazing toolkit collection of those teachings and I for one am extremely grateful to have it all pulled together in one place. June McClintock

now, lead others
Cillín has uniquely intertwined leadership principles in a captivating story that not only keeps the reader engaged but also eases the barrier for those readers who struggle to get through the all too common theory-heavy leadership books currently on the market. I recommend this book to leaders who wish to gain the insight and tools into how to build a high performing team and to seasoned leaders as a guiding resource for mentoring and growing future leaders. Now, Lead Others is a fable about common leadership challenges seen in many organisations throughout the world. This easy to read story follows Nathan Strife as he is thrust into a high-stakes mountain rescue where everything he thought he knew about leadership is thrown into question. During his adventure Nathan learns the difference between leadership theory and the practical application of leadership skills in the real world.
Leadership books can be a chore sometimes but this one was engaging and easy to read, with the same humour and sense of mischief Cillín brought in his first book. However, Now, Lead Others is different, it's a story of adventure. I found the book took me on a personal journey of reflection, intrigue and excitement, eager to put the lessons learnt into action. Now, Lead Others cleverly condenses key leadership concepts into a clear and engaging format. I was hooked from the start, and the practical examples made it easy to see how these ideas could be applied in my own day-to-day work. Whether you're aiming to build a high-performing team or simply become a more effective leader, Now, Lead Others offers invaluable insights and actionable strategies. Highly recommended! Emma Parker
